Engineering Logic
This system is engineered as contract-grade furniture.
It addresses Joint Fatigue typically observed in Hospitality / Hotel Lobby environments
by integrating the OE-Lock™ Multi-Axis Joinery System into the sub-structure.
The cabriole leg geometry, while visually elegant, creates a moment arm that concentrates stress at the apron connection; our reinforcement ensures zero deflection.
This methodology aligns with the contract-grade fabrication standards established for high-traffic zones.
Neo-Baroque Velvet Sofa Suite – Aesthetic Structure
Designed as a controlled study of proportion and material behaviour,
the Neo-Baroque Velvet Sofa Suite maintains architectural discipline.
The chassis features a curvilinear crest rail centered by a pierced-carved cartouche, balanced by substantial scroll-foot supports.
The upholstery utilises a deep-buttoned tufting technique on the backrest, which functions not only as ornamentation but as a tension-distribution matrix for the fabric.
Architects may define specific ornamentation levels through our
bespoke specification process.
Project-Specific Interpretation
In a hypothetical commission for a Luxury Hotel Lobby, the system was adapted to withstand
the specific challenge of Joint Fatigue caused by constant guest ingress and egress.
The integration of the OE-Lock™ Multi-Axis Joinery System ensured long-term stability
without reliance on site correction, preventing the common failure of leg loosening.
Construction & Material Behaviour
The selected Velvet Textile Assembly is bonded to a core engineered
specifically for commercial stability.
- Joinery: Reinforced mechanical connections with steel dowel inserts.
- Finish: Ebonised lacquer with Platinum-Gilded relief, sealed for abrasion resistance.
- Load Behaviour: Calibrated for continuous use in high-traffic scenarios.
