Engineering Logic
This system is engineered as contract-grade furniture.
It addresses Joint Fatigue typically observed in Hospitality environments.
The massive vertical lever arm created by the ornate headboard generates significant torque at the rail connection points during guest ingress/egress. Standard hook-rail systems inevitably loosen, causing structural noise.
We resolve this by integrating the OE-Lock™ Multi-Axis Joinery System into the sub-structure.
This methodology aligns with the internal stability criteria established for high-traffic zones.
Rococo-Style Typology – Aesthetic Structure
Designed as a controlled study of proportion and material behaviour,
the Rococo-Style Upholstered Bed maintains architectural discipline.
The chassis features a pierced-carved crest rail finished in a Champagne-Gilt System, providing a metallic contrast to the matte white upholstery.
The headboard utilises a diamond-tufted (capitonné) tensioning matrix, which serves to mechanically anchor the leather surface while adding acoustic dampening properties to the suite.
Architects may define specific upholstery grades through our
bespoke specification process.
Project-Specific Interpretation
In a hypothetical commission for a Luxury Hotel Suite, the system was adapted to withstand
the specific challenge of Joint Fatigue.
High-turnover environments require furniture that resists the “loosening” effect of constant vibration and load shifting.
The integration of the OE-Lock™ Multi-Axis Joinery System ensured long-term stability
without reliance on site maintenance, guaranteeing a silent and rigid structure for the lifespan of the fit-out.
Construction & Material Behaviour
The selected Leather & Hardwood Assembly is bonded to a core engineered
specifically for commercial stability.
- Joinery: Steel-reinforced corner brackets with vibration-proof fasteners.
- Finish: Multi-stage metallic lacquer application for abrasion resistance.
- Load Behaviour: Slat platform calibrated to distribute static loads exceeding 400kg.
