The Penthouse Climate Paradox
In Urban Penthouse environments, sophisticated HVAC systems often create an artificially arid micro-climate (low relative humidity).
While comfortable for residents, this dryness causes solid timber frames to shrink.
However, the rigid Argento (Silver) Leaf finish cannot contract.
This mismatch creates Differential Veneer Movement, resulting in the “shattering” of the metallic finish along the carved detailing,
ruining the flawless aesthetic essential for high-value specifications.
Technical Intervention: Core Stabilization
To resolve this, the chassis of this architectural seating unit is machined from the
OE-Stabil™ Engineered Ply Core. By cross-laminating the wood grain in alternating directions,
we mechanically lock the substrate’s dimensions. It becomes immune to the hygroscopic shrinkage typically caused by central air conditioning.
The silver leaf acts as a permanent metallic skin rather than a fragile overlay.
Sapphire & Argento – Visual Logic
The upholstery combines a textured Sapphire Blue Jacquard on the seat and back with solid velvet accent cushions,
creating a tactile hierarchy. The backrest features crystal-button tufting, adding a layer of light refraction that complements the
cool tones of the silver frame. The silhouette is strictly Neoclassical, characterized by the exposed wood frame and
cabriole legs, yet scaled for intimate modern living spaces.
Bespoke Manufacturing (OEM / ODM)
OE-FASHION serves as a technical manufacturing partner for interior architects.
We can customize the “Argento” finish to varying degrees of antiquing—from bright Sterling to dark Pewter—to match

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Are the crystal buttons secure?
A: Yes. Each button is double-anchored through the frame back, not just the foam.
Q: Can the silver finish tarnish?
A: We apply a UV-resistant clear lacquer that prevents oxidation, even in sun-drenched penthouses.
Technical Note: The Jacquard fabric is sensitive to liquid spills. For high-usage areas, we recommend
an optional hydrophobic nanocoating treatment during production.
