The development of this system began with the assumption that Asymmetric Torsional Drift would eventually compromise the joinery connecting the high headboard to the low foot rail. In standard chaise longues, this “waist” point often fails under lateral pressure. Rather than relying on standard decorative carving, the design neutralizes this force by integrating an OE-Brace™ Corner Block hidden beneath the upholstery.

This intervention interrupts the failure path before it creates a wobble. The integrity of the intentional crackle finish is preserved regardless of humidity cycles.

Technically, the Rococo Floral Chaise Longue is conceived as a configurable furniture system. Categorically defined as freestanding furniture rather than millwork. Load transfer to architectural structures remains outside the furniture scope unless explicitly specified during CAD coordination.
