Rather than relying on standard doweled joints, the design neutralizes this force by integrating a steel-reinforced cantilever plate at the junction of the backrest and the seat rail.
This intervention interrupts the failure path before it creates movement. The chaise acts as a rigid, monolithic unit, preserving the delicate alignment of the gold leaf ornamentation.

The Rococo Gilded Chaise Longue is a solid-frame construction and cannot be disassembled.
