Engineering Logic
This system is engineered as contract-grade furniture.
It addresses Joint Fatigue typically observed in Diplomatic Residence environments
(due to sustained formal usage and static loading) by integrating the OE-Lock™ Multi-Axis Joinery System into the sub-structure.
This adherence to rigorous lifecycle fatigue calibration ensures that the compound angles of the frame maintain rigidity over decades of service.
Crucially, this structural density is engineered into the core matrix, designed to
limit degradation without reliance on periodic refinishing or on-site corrective intervention.
Neo-Baroque Settee Assembly – Aesthetic Structure
Designed as a controlled study of proportion and material behaviour,
the Neo-Baroque Settee Assembly maintains architectural discipline.
The chassis presents a tripartite backrest structure merging into flared armrests. The exposed wood frame (show wood) acts as both an ornamental border and a structural exoskeleton. Unlike decorative reproductions where the carved crest rail is merely applied, this specification integrates the carving into the solid frame, ensuring the cabriole legs transfer load vertically without shear stress accumulation at the apron.
Architects may define specific ornamentation levels through our
bespoke specification process.
Project-Specific Interpretation
In a hypothetical commission for a Diplomatic Residence, the system was calibrated to withstand
the specific challenge of Long-Term Static Load.
The integration of the internal doweling matrix and reinforced corner blocks serves to [counteract]
the micro-movements that lead to squeaking or loosening, reducing the risk of structural play often associated with heirloom-style furniture in formal settings.
Construction & Material Behaviour
The selected Gilded Frame & Upholstery System is bonded to a core engineered
specifically for commercial stability.
- Substrate Stack: Kiln-dried beech or mahogany core with interlocking grain orientation.
- Joinery: Double-blind tenons secured with mechanical fasteners at high-stress vectors.
- Finish System: Barrier-coated gilding layers to resist oxidation and handling wear.
- Load Behaviour: Calibrated to distribute eccentric loads through the cabriole geometry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this a specific stock product?
A: No. This is an engineering specification for manufacturing bespoke furniture tailored to project requirements.
Q: Is this suitable for a Diplomatic Residence?
A: Yes. The system is specifically calibrated to counteract Joint Fatigue and withstand Long-Term Static Loads common in these settings.
Q: Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
A: No fixed MOQ applies. Engineering scope, not quantity, defines feasibility and cost.
Q: Can dimensions be modified?
A: Yes. All frames are built to order, allowing for millimetre-perfect calibration.
